Not that he really cares, but nonetheless…
Americansâ€™ historically negative assessment of the administration is not limited to the president. Vice President Dick Cheneyâ€™s favorability rating in the new poll is 13 percent, the lowest of his time in office.
So will he stay off the national stage?
In an interview following the swearing-in of the Senateâ€™s latest member, Sen. Ted Kaufman (D-Del.), Cheney told The Hill that he has mixed feelings about leaving government service again.
â€œIâ€™ve enjoyed it. Itâ€™s been a great career, and Iâ€™ve been very fortunate to be able to serve,â€ Cheney said. â€œAnd I will miss it. On the other hand, Iâ€™ve got some things that I look forward to in private life â€¦ You know this is the fourth time Iâ€™ve transitioned from government to the private sector.â€
Please Dick…stay away. Even Republicans don’t like you. Just go on a permanent fishing trip and leave us alone. 8 years is enough.
