Suicide Bomb In Oklahoma

Wow.

Looks like a suicide bomber blew up outside of an OU football game. The stadium was packed with 84,000 fans. There’s not very much info right now as the only real witnesses were inside the stadium. However, some of them said it sounded like the Oklahoma City bombing.

Spooky.

The AP is saying that it happened about 100 yards from the stadium. Total death toll so far: 1 suicide bomber.

AP’s reporting tonight the father of the dead boy says it was nothing political and he didn’t intend to harm anyone but himself.

As a father, Hinrichs said he wants to believe that the explosion was an accidental death, but said the evidence clearly points to suicide.

“He was checking out,” Hinrichs said.

“He was pretty disengaged from politics,” the father told The Associated Press. “And he took the care to select an open area where there was no one around.”
