Sharpton’s Racist Comments
By Justin Gardner | Related entries in Partisan Hacks, Race, ReligionIf he has such a problem with Imus, why is he using the verb “jewing” to describe something as being dishonest and shady?
That’s highly offensive as well, no? He has a radio show too, yes?
Fair is fair. If Imus went, then Sharpton should go too.
Watch the clip and tell me what you think.

ridiculous.

Fair is Fair, He, Sharpton should have to ask the Jewish people for forgiveness and then he should be fired for the terrible remarks he has made against our Jewish brothers. Fair is fair.

Even the anti-racists are racist these days.
April 15th, 2007 at 11:25 am
What is sad is Sharpton’s anti-semitism is, A) already well known, and B) tolerated.
This will generate nothing but a yawn from most people.
Sad.
April 15th, 2007 at 12:23 pm
Wow, that’s damning.
Sharpton should get keelhauled just like Imus was. The differences are that Sharpton has no boss, officially, a lot of the people who support him are as antisemitic or worse than he is, and he’s amoral and slippery as an eel. But any time he pops his head up as an avenging moralist, let’s whack-a-mole him with this. If anyone wants to know more about antisemitism among black Americans, James Baldwin is a good place to start.

Sharpton has to stop the “how we was done wrong cause we was slaves” And that society OWES US BIG TIME . He is a pure racist , along with the other so called “Reverend”…JJ. These guys are more demonic than the devil himself. My advice , Get off the damn slave ship and be a proud African American. That was then and now is now.
The cowards hide behind tha superficial shield of the race card.
Remember what Martin Luther king state: Do not judge a man by the colour of his skin, but the contents of his CHARACTER.

I was posed this question in a high school ethics class, which was taught by an african american woman.
“You are a vice president of a large corporation. You have three candidates for a job opening. All three have similar education backgrounds, experience, and leadership skills. The difference is that one is a male african american, the second is a asian female, and the third is a caucasian male. Who do you hire?”
My answer was unique and made the teacher furious.
“After interviewing all three candidates I would choose the person who I felt most comfortable with. If any of the three were disrespectful to me, acted as if I already owed them something, or that society itself was indebted to them then they would not be cosidered.”
The instructor told me I had to make a clear choice like everyone else in the class. I told him that he could not make me choose by race, and I got permission to drop the class completely.
This is the way people like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson make me feel. They are trying to make everyone choose sides on a very old and tired argument. If a white man fires a black employee, it might not be because of race. It might just be a bad job performance.
I hope Dr. King is doing somersaults in his grave after some of the people who have “followed in his footsteps”.

Fair is fair. If Imus went, then Sharpton should go too.
This is a ridiculous assertion. Imus was fired once companies pulled their advertisements set to air during his show. MSNBC is a company. If you’re not making money for them, they have no obligation to keep you around. If the folks who own the station where Sharpton produces his show decide that it’s no longer profitable to feature him, then they can decide to drop him if that’s what they want to do.
Here’s a similar example: I like Ben & Jerry’s ice cream better than Hagen Daz. If Wal-mart decides to stop selling Ben & Jerry’s, would it be reasonable for me to demand that Target Grocery Store stop selling Hagen Daz too? No. These are two separately owned companies. Even if they sell brands of ice cream that tastes the same to me, Target doesn’t have to get rid of their Hagen Daz simply because I’m mad that Wal-Mart stopped selling the ice cream that I like.
What you’re proposing might make sense if both Imus and Sharpton were producing shows on the same channel. The market has spoken. If you want Sharpton off the air, do the same thing that people did with the Imus situation: Contact the people who advertise during his show and let the station owners know that you found his statement unacceptable. If you’re not willing to do that, then it certainly isn’t reasonable to expect companies to care about what you think.

What the hell does ‘jewing numbers’ even mean? Do they get filled with Christian blood and precious metals????
May 2nd, 2007 at 10:14 am
So you think we Jews really care what a stupid nigger says about us?
May 2nd, 2007 at 11:16 am
Exactly. The difference is that black people have Sharpton who makes his career making a huge deal out of any racist comment, and Jews don’t give a fuck, they are too busy working and improving their lives to spend weeks complaining about every little comment.
Of course, also the common Jewish insult that they are extremely shrewd businessmen is not quite as insulting as being ‘nappy-headed hos’.
And no specific individual people were targeted here.
May 2nd, 2007 at 12:33 pm
In order for anyone to fire Sharpton, they’d need to figure out just what his job is.
May 2nd, 2007 at 1:25 pm
Does anyone know what Sharpton does for a job? Where does he get hi income? You can’t get him fired because no one knows.
May 2nd, 2007 at 2:18 pm
Well this pretty much kills the old “Jews” control the media theory… I mean if you really did control the media, why would you let him keep saying things like this… unless that is the plan… where is that tinfoil????
May 2nd, 2007 at 2:23 pm

>>And no specific individual people were targeted here.
So, had Imus said “We gotta get a bunch of niggers in here to clean this place up”, it would have been OK, because “no specific individuals were targeted”???
Wanna bet it would have been portrayed as even worse?
BTW: There is nothing insulting about “nappy”; it simply means “tightly curled” ( what we would have called “kinky”, in old slang).
May 2nd, 2007 at 2:37 pm
So, if Sharpton really said what is claimed–could be a clever fake; you never know about video these days–then does this mean I should give up my Ebony magazine subscription, stop Jerry curling my hair, throw away my rap CDs, take down that Angela Davis, Ph.D. poster (the woman was hot looking back in the day) from the wall, etc.
Well, OK. After all, one must be fair.

[...] Of course, I’m not that silly — I blame a whole contingent of amorphous, ambiguous shadow groups from the liberal jew atheist media to the conservative oil corporate tycoons. Speaking of anti-Semitism, check out this wonderful clip of teflan racist/opportunist Al Sharpton talking about ‘jewing up numbers’ (what the hell does that even mean and who listens to Al Sharpton in the first place?). I don’t care what Rev AL said. It still doesn’t make what Imus said right. Much as I like JD and love his edgy stuff, he done wrong, got caught, and a higher power spanked him. You gotta ask yourself how many people hear Al and how many people heard JD. I’d say JD had a better than 1000 to 1 advantage. He’ll be back if he doesn’t decide to retire.
Rev Al, on the other hand will get cut and when he does he won’t be back. He’s had his day in the sun.

As a young black male, I have no problem saying that Reverend Al Sharpton needs to get a clue. Have I experienced racism? Of course, but I didn’t let it phase me. People have assumed I’m stupid, feared me for no reason, and worse. I just laughed as I continously outperformed them in every way. I go to what is arguably the best college in the world in my field (computer science) and I’m just about to crack six figures per year before I can even drink legally. Time and again I have proven myself to be just as good or better than anyone — black, white, asian, hispanic, or otherwise. Why? Because I don’t waste my time listening to ignorant morons like fred or CT who think I’m some inferior being NOR do I listen to people like Al Sharpton who want to bitch and moan all the time.

@ TiredofHearingIt:
If what you say is indeed true, hats off to you. Your effort is worthy of admiration. Racism has become a very subjective issue in the modern world and most people will experience it at some point in their life – whether they be black, white, brown, yellow or any other hue in between. I totally agree with your point of view that rather than waste time listening to pathetic morons like the named people, one should just get on with one’s business as best one can. After all, even people like Sharpton are just out to make their living the only way they can. Unless it becomes too much of an irritation (and more seriously, of personal danger), I feel one should concentrate on improving one’s life. The future of racism is going to be very interesting (and confusing) what with all the mixing of races and culture that we are seeing already and which will only increase in the future. What will we have then, sub-culture, sub-language racism? That would indeed be atrociously laughable.

There were many bad comments and some good ones, my question to the bloggers is why do we expect things to change in a country based on racism and prejudice? In a country where slavery of another people was and still is going, and Willie Lynch ‘s contribution to society was a perpetual motion doctrine that has stayed true to form, with there being prejudice within the race from lighter skinned african americans on their darker skinned brethren; racism by many whites whether latent or otherwise against blacks, latinos, arabs and asians; ingrained racism from latinos against blacks, asians, arabs and anyone not considered white with derogatory terms even being created to describe black i.e. moreno;those tired of the jewish people using the holocaust as a crutch and tool to elicit sympathy and handouts all the while disregarding centuries of slavery;old money and new money; and the list can go on and on classifications are something that we live with and unfortunately have been used to subjugate groups of people considered undesirables. Many of the posts i read lashed out in anger against Sharpton, but to those lashing out i pose this question did any of you lash out at Don Imus, Rush Limbaugh,Micheal Richards, or any of the blalantly racist broadcasters/entertainers that many americans hold near and dear to their hearts, when they proceeded to fill the airwaves with hate speech? If the answer is no then that is quite interesting to say the least, to those of you that did we need more of those with your mentality as it pertains to racism and prejudice in this country. Good day and best wishes to all the readers.

Rev al sharpton is an ignorant contradictory moron. He goes out of his way to imbarass and persecute don imus for a comment that was niether bigoted nor uncalled for. These “strong women” that don imus directed these comments at, are obviously not as storng as they are made out to be. Why if they are so strong do they take such offense to such an igsignificant comment? Nappy headed ho’es as imus put it has nothing to do with the fact that they are black. Maybe they are nappy headed hos? i mean honestly their hair doesnt look very attractive to me not to mention these women are ugly as all hell so who gives a shit. They are lucky he didnt tell the truth and talk about how worthless the womens basketball league is anyway. Have you ever watched a womens basketball game? They are by far the most boring shit on television and i cant see why anyone would want to watch a bunch of “biatches” run up and down the court. Lower the baskerball hoop so these idiots can dunk and at least make their stupid game
entertaining. With that said Rev Al persecutes imus while claiming that he is a “reverand” yet his forgiveness is absent and i see nothing in his heart but bitterness as he desperatly seeks revenge for something insignificant. Al sharpton, nobody takes u seriously no cares what u have to say, u dont represent the black community and you dont have anything worth listening to, to say. No one gives a shit about your opinion yet you still stir up a fuss about something that is of no concern to your ignorant ass. Shut up please, your an idiot putting on a show to gain attention for yourself. You did nothing righteous, you represent the church in a disrespectable and inadequate manner. What the hell do you preach? revenge against those who state their opinions is all i see. The lord says, dont complain about the splinter in your nieghbor’s eye when there is a log in your own. Dont persecute imus when you yourself are showing how cold and bitter you are by going out of your way to bring him down. You know what i say rev? Fuck you, fuck those ugly nappy headed hos and their shitty game, fuck your dumbass show and ur ignorant biased opinions. I cant listen to your dumbass anymore you make me sick please do us all a favor and shut the fuck up until something happens that actually concerns or requires your useless opinio

i,m just sorry that martin luther king jr. is dead. if alive , he would straighten out the blacks today. he believed in equality, NOT superiority. the blacks today want to be superior to whites, not equal. sharpton and jessie are shit stirrers.

Jeesh the Rev Al Sh@%bag is full of it again I guess “jewing ” something is ok for him cause he is black so he can get away wih it. Oh and i guess its ok for his brethrend ot call jews Himeys..yup OK if your black to insult white people but god forbid we insult them..Al Sh!%bag cn say anything he would like to becasue he is a Reverend..oh by the way of what church?…..
