Rasmussen: Obama Up By 4

By Justin Gardner | Related entries in 2008 Election, Barack, McCain, Polls

Obama – 50%
McCain – 46%

No change today in this poll. Meanwhile, most of the others are showing a widening lead for Obama. Is Rasmussen behind the trend?

The biggest concern for McCain at this point is the leadership question. Because if Obama’s winning this one, there’s no way that McCain will win…

Forty-eight percent (48%) of voters now say that Obama is a better leader than McCain while 42% hold the opposite view.

That’s the first time all year that Obama has held the advantage on this question.

Another thing to remember about these numbers…Obama has been at or above 50% since September 26. And since then, McCain has been unable to break 46%. The numbers have varied, but as much as Republicans are claiming that Obama can’t close the deal, the numbers are showing the exact opposite.

The 5 day:
10/21/2008: McCain – 46%, Obama – 50%
10/20/2008: McCain – 46%, Obama – 50%
10/19/2008: McCain – 45%, Obama – 51%
10/18/2008: McCain – 45%, Obama – 50%
10/17/2008: McCain – 46%, Obama – 50%

More tomorrow…
