Clash Royale Comes with a Spring Crown Championship Tournament

0

In March 2017, Clash Royale has celebrated one year since it was released for iOS and Android platforms. Well, even if it will be a few months late, the Spring Crown Championship Tournament will come to Clash Royale.

Supercell has already confirmed this and it seems that the tournament will actually take place in 4 phases. The first phase will run until May 11 to May 16, 2017 and it will be open play, where hundreds of 1000-player custom tournaments will open up for rank 8 and up players. In other words, the best players from the open play tournament will move to the second phase where it will be bracket play.

In here, there will be eight bracketed tournaments (each one of them will have 1024 players) and only the person who will win the bracket tournament will move to the third phase. This means that in the third phase we will have only 8 players and they will have a three-week round-robin tournament, with the first 6 moving on to the Spring Finals.

Here, there will be a double elimination bracket to become the Spring Champion. According to the Clash Royale Spring Crown Championship Tournament, the Finals will take place between June 30 and July 2, 2017.

We have to mention that the fans of Clash Royale will be able to see the championship on three platforms: YouTube, Facebook and Twitch. However, if you want to join the championship, you will need a level 8 account, be at least 16 years old and a resident of your respective competitive region. At the same time, only players in Europe, North America and Latin America are allowed to join the tournament.
Below you will see a video that confirms this upcoming championship:
