Geometry Wars 2 and 3 Download Available on Xbox One

Microsoft’s backwards compatibility program for its Xbox One consoles has been known to deliver everyone’s beloved Xbox 360 games for a while now. And now, after last year’s release of the original Geometry Wars games, it’s time for the next installments in the series to also come through on our favorite consoles, all across the globe.  We’re talking about Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 and Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions.

If you already own these two games in a digital format, then you can go to your Ready to Download section on your Xbox One and  get them now. If you haven’t owned them previously, but still want to enjoy them, you can buy them for 10 and 15 dollars respectively, with Geometry Wars 3 being the more expensive of the pair due to the fact that it’s a bit newer.

Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 launched on Xbox 360 all the way back in 2008 and has been a hit among players across the world, while Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions launched just three years ago, in 2014. What is more, the title was also launched on Xbox One along with Xbox 360, but you don’t have to buy it separately for the former if you already have the digital version for the latter. Microsoft’s backwards compatibility program already took care of that.
