Sony Remote Play Available to Play Games on Your PC
We all have to admit that with all the great releases (Uncharted, The Last of Us, Journey, Horizon Zero Dawn), PlayStation has become a platform of the best games released in the last decade. However, despite the fact that the games are some of the best, they are not available on PC. Or at least not until now.
A New Way to Play
Now, a new way to play PS4 games on the PC is streaming them from the console with the help of Internet or a local network. Remote Play is a feature that initially was exclusive to the PlayStation Vita, as well as some smartphones and tablets. Moreover, in the near future, you might use the Sony PlayStation Now service in order to stream particular PS4 games to the PC straight from the cloud. However, this service is now available only for the PS3 games.
Requirements
In order to be able to stream this service, you have to run a computer that uses Windows 8.1 or Windows 10, so basically any modern hardware. Moreover, you have to own a PS4 or PS4 Pro, a DualShock 4 controller and a wireless adapter or a micro-USB to USB cable, plus a Ps Online account.
How to Do It
First of all, the PS4 must be the primary console. Then, you have to download and to install the Remote Play app from the official website. Configure it, set whatever options you want and then connect the controller. Use the Remote Play app to connect to the PlayStation network. After you set everything up, you should be able to stream games right on your PC. It’s not hard to do so, but if you encounter any issues you can look it up on Google.
