Xiaomi Mi 6 Coming Soon With Amazing Specifications and Improved Features
Recently, Xiaomi has confirmed that Xiaomi Mi 6 will be arriving on April 19. Their post on Weibo (a Chinese social network) was quite confusing, and some people believed that the Mi 6 will be announced today. However, this is not the case. It is official now that the Mi 6 event will take place in Beijing.
Features
We have been seeing leaks for the Xiaomi Mi 6 for quite a while now, as well as for the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus. Both devices are expected to be released simultaneously, and if we were to believe the rumors, Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus will be larger and will offer more significant specs.
The Mi 6 will supposedly come together with a 5.15 inches display that offers Full HD quality (1920×1080 pixels resolution), while the Plus version will have a 5.7 inches one. Both are made of metal and glass, and they will both include a fingerprint scanner on the front of the phone. From what it seems, Xiaomi plans to keep the capacitive buttons, which you can still customize with the software included on the Mi 6. Probably the fingerprint scanner or the home button will be larger, in comparison with the one included on the Mi 5.
Both devices are going to rely on the Snapdragon 835 CPU, or at least according to the rumors. They represent the flagships of the year, and people expect them to be released in India shortly after the announcement in China. Most likely there are other markets that will want to get it as soon as possible after the release.
Naturally, Xiaomi is competing with other tech giants in order to push forward their Xiaomi Mi 6 model, together with the Plus version. It’s still a week left until the official announcement, so we have to be patient.
