I know not what course others may take, but for me, give me liberty or give me death! ~Patrick Henry.

Why don’t we have any guys like that anymore?

    I thought this was funny:

A 24-toed cat is going around attacking people in this town, so the city put the cat under house arrest.

Hopefully the criminal justice system can help rehabilitate the cat and help integrate it back into society.

Re: the cat: was it given an ankle bracelet, or were 6 necessary?

Re: Patrick Henry: “Okay, I get it, no one’s going to GIVE me liberty. I’ll have to go get it myself.”

  6. Meredith Says:

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a cat actually go after a human, unless the human tries to touch them. I would love to see a cat chase after and attack a person.

  7. GN Says:

OK, the cat story is relly funny but try this: There was an Evangelical conferenc in D.C (? …I think) at which Tom Delay was a main speaker. Check this out … Tom Delay was investigated and indicted because … ready? …. there is a war on christianity in the United States ….. I don’t care who youare, that’s funny.

    Justin,
While this is a great post and we can talk about that later, I here implore you to check your email as I have replied to your comment left on my blog, The Positivity of Absolute Value.
I would love a response, if you have time of course, because I believe there is discourse to be had on the issue.

I would like to point out that this open thread post is plagiarized from Dkos.

And these comments were plagiarized from the open thread post at Protein Wisdom:

Where is the Outrage at this administration who is too bad for even words. Why do the sheeple listen to the biggest potatoheads in this lying government, who only got into power because of their friends at Diabold, Inc. I have to hang my head and let the tears fall down like rain because these are the dark days, and my country is dying! Argghhhhh! {clunk)

A: The bulldozer didn’t stop until it was across the street.

Teh sad thing is that tehy are chickenhawks who don’t fight their own wars. BushCo should fight its own wars like other presidents did, like Washington and Eisenhower.

There should be a draft- but only a draft for chickenhawk neo-cons.

I’m so sad I’m crying while writing this and getting electric shocks from my keyboard because it is wet and that is making me cry more.

I’d suggest we kill all the Rethuglians, except we’re peaceniks. But, certainly they are merely zombies following orders. We’d be putting them out of their misery.

    ANARCHY RULES!

Chimpy sux! When will the world wake up? I fell asleep crying last night, and dreamed jackbooted thugs were out to get me. I think I’ll make a papier-mâché effigy of Bushitler today.

I weep for all the weeping while I weep. When will the sheeple wake up? I weeple for the sheeple. Weally. I do.

    Bushitler is teh SU>

Re Patrick Henry: When I was in the Army, about a million years ago, we used to say, “I know not what course others may take, but as for me, give me liberty or I’m going to the A.G.!”

    Hello,

Just a quick note about a new online resource: StateMaster.com allows you to compare US States with over 2,600 statistics, everything from race related hate crimes per capita to the number of bookmobiles in each state.

    http://www.statemaster.com

This is a unique and excellent resource we hope to expand even further. The current site includes detailed state profiles, maps and flags, and graphing tools.

Let us know what you think.

Thanks very much for your time!
