Candy Crush Saga Developer is Currently Working on a Call of Duty Replica
According to the latest rumors, King, the developer of Candy Crush Saga, is currently working on a new Call of Duty game that will be released for mobile devices. These rumors have surfaced after King has posted a job and in the description it mentioned that their challenge as a team is to create a Call of Duty game for mobile devices.
In the job listing, King claims that it will try to bring a fresh, social and highly accessible game while still keeping a very authentic experience that the game franchise has accustomed us with.
It seems that the developing company will also release multiple prototypes, allowing the team to think outside the box and choose the best ones. It seems that the ones that will be selected to work on this game will be encouraged to stretch their expertise in ways to create some awesome results.
Currently, King is looking for a senior systems designer, a senior UX/UI designer, a level designer and an art director to join the team from Stockholm, Sweden. However, it seems that King will not be the only developing company that will work on this project as it will collaborate with Activision Blizzard.
We remind you that Activision Blizzard has purchased King Digital Entertainment for $5.9 billion at the end of 2015. It seems that Call of Duty will be the first title that both King and Activision Blizzard will work on. If this game will be successful then these two developing company could start working on a mobile adaptation for games such as Overwatch or Destiny.
Do you think that King and Activision Blizzard will be able to bring a decent Call of Duty game for mobile devices?
