Mass Effect Andromeda DLC Update Makes Multiplayer Content Possible
Although fans are clamoring for more story content or support, BioWare will be including multiplayer content in their next DLC for free. Luckily, BioWare has decided to completely forgo the Season Pass DLC model for their latest game and as such the development team are going to fully support Mass Effect Andromeda with a much higher degree of freedom and appreciation from their fans.
As of now, most of the updates have included APEX multiplayer missions, which are story-based missions that you can play solo or with other players but are not integral to the overall story or lore of Mass Effect Andromeda.
Their latest mission release has been in the form of APEX Mission 04: Those Alien Artifacts Aren’t for You. This mission reveals an attempt to collect more and more artifacts which has garnered the attention of the enemy, namely the kett.
For players that are wondering what the next real story DLC will be about, the end of the game event in Mass Effect Andromeda’s single-player campaign shows quite an obvious clue.
This might come as a spoiler to people who have not yet finished the game, and as such, caution is advised when reading further. Noticeable as players kept progressing through the game is the fact that the Quarian Ark was nowhere to be seen, which also included members of the drell and hanar races.
At the end of the game, the Pathfinder receives a transmission from the aforementioned missing Ark and it’s informing the other species to stay away from it. The message was untraceable and this would suggest that more in-game events will be added. As is the case with the other Arks, new characters and also a new Pathfinder will be needed as well.
