New Mass Effect Andromeda Patch Details and Information
It’s no secret that Mass Effect: Andromeda has been one of the most poorly received major game releases of this year. Although the Mass Effect series is one loved by many, its developers over at BioWare truly messed up this one. The game hasn’t been that popular among players ever since the first ever teaser trailer dropped. Its major flaws were obvious off the bat. Mass Effect: Andromeda shaped up to have poor graphics, bad characters and tedious missions.
Many hope that that would change until the game’s release, but it didn’t. Mass Effect: Andromeda is a mediocre game at best. Even though it gets better after playing it for at least a few hours and getting through the boring initial worlds and companions, it’s still not a shining star in the franchise. If anything, it’s the one Mass Effect game you needn’t play if you’re just getting into the series right now. Seriously, don’t waste your time with it and read the comics instead.
According to Blorge however, if you’ve played the other games, it’s worth a shot. Maybe you’ll like it. And its developers are certainly trying to make it better, which is laudable. The most recent patch that Mass Effect: Andromeda has received tries to hide the game’s most obvious flaws, which shows that its developers are still dedicated to making this mediocre game into a good one. But not even this patch can save it. Honestly, we can understand why the franchise is going on hiatus.
The patch does improve the game visually, especially as far as animation is concerned. But that doesn’t mean that it completely changes it, it just means that the graphics are now a bit less cringeworthy, which is a plus I guess. But it’s not enough, and no patch in the world can save Mass Effect: Andromeda.
