The PS4 Pro (36 compete units at 911 MHz) is outperformed by the Xbox Project Scorpio’s 40 compute units at 1,172 MHz. Nintendo Switch is also competitive with a GPU speed of 768 MHz.
Memory
Both the PS4 Pro and the Xbox Project Scorpio rely on 8GB RAM, while Nintendo has included only 4GB of RAM in its Switch.
Memory Bandwith
Microsoft’s Xbox Project Scorpio is 50% more powerful than the PS4 Pro; the Xbox Project Scorpio features 326GB/s and the PS4 Pro, 218GB/s. Nontendo Switch delivers only 25.6GB/s.
Storage
Both the PS4 Pro and the Scorpio feature 1TB of native storage, and it’s quite difficult to compare them to the Nintendo Switch, because the latter works differently. The Switch’s cartridge based system has a micro SD built in to the console. The native storage is of only 32GB.
Optical drive
Project Scorpio features a 4K Blu-Ray, the PS4 Pro offers users a standard Blu-Ray drive, and Nintendo Switch has no optical drive.
Portability
Nintendo Switch’s biggest selling point is the fact that it can be docked with a TV and removed for portable gaming. Even when you carry it around it has quite a great performance. This is a unique feature in the present console generation. Sony’s PS4 Pros and Microsoft’s Xbox Project Scorpio are unable to deliver portable gaming.
