Obama’s VP Announcement To Come Saturday Morning

The AP is reporting that the pick is less than 24 hours away…
Late Friday, several officials said the text message announcement would be distributed Saturday morning, a few hours before a scheduled rally at the Old State Capitol in Springfield, Ill., where the Democratic ticket would appear for the first time.
Add to that the news of Bayh and Kaine getting the word they haven’t been picked, I think it’s obvious who it’ll be.
But to back it up…
Ambinder notes that a private plane has arrived in New Castle, Delaware from Chicago earlier today…

And Hotline doesn’t think the Bidens are home…
The Biden home has fielded occasional visitors today, including the senator’s state director and daughter. We have not seen the senator or his wife, leading some to wonder if he may have snuck out overnight.

I realize the media craze and buildup to this wasn’t ENTIRELY Obama’s fault, but after days of drawing out the suspense this just seems so anticlimactic… not that I have anything against Biden.
