Fallout: New Vegas Remastered VR Or Fallout: New Vegas 2?
You might be among the many who are looking forward to the release of Fallout: New Vegas. But there were rumors circulating around the Internet confusing fans all over the world as to which version has been in the works.
Why Fallout: New Vegas 2 Is Possible?
Due to the impressive run of Fallout 4 after it was released back in 2015, a sequel has been very much anticipated by the fans. In fact, it was considered by fans to be one of the best games of the franchise.
A lead designer at Obsidian Games even remarked about his eagerness to work on the sequel of Fallout. He believes that most of the fans are into it and that it is really fun to work with.
This was revealed after a fan asked about plans at Obsidian to work on a new Fallout title in the near future. However, this is considered an unofficial confirmation regarding the creation of the sequel. Though it is still indicative that they are heading to that direction, particularly when a dedicated fan base will be behind it.
Bethesda Game Studios, the game’s developer, should consider the possible scenario that Fallout 4 would die down in the next year on consoles. This is due to the many new and exciting games about to be released.
Therefore, Bethesda should make another Fallout game that must mimic New Vegas in which Obsidian is perfect for the job. As a matter of fact, a possible location for the game’s sequel will be in New Mexico.
Another possible location is Albuquerque due to the wasteland properties of the place. Likewise, it has great similarities to the New Vegas game only it is a bit more restrained. Rumors about references to the Mojave Desert with an alien presence have also been considered possibilities.
Rumors Of A Fake Sequel To Fallout: New Vegas
There were already some rumors circulating the Internet regarding the creation of Fallout: New Vegas 2 by Obsidian. One rumor that has buzzed all over town is the development of a sequel to the post-apocalyptic game called Fallout 4: New Vegas 2.
However, the said rumors were fake, according to PR manager Mikey Dowling at the Obsidian. According to Dowling, they would love to work on Fallout sequel if only Bethesda would allow them to.
Fallout: New Vegas Remastered VR
For some avid fans, there is a possibility for a Fallout: New Vegas will be released in Remastered VR. However, it would be a bit challenging, considering the hardware limitations that might cause the game to receive poor reviews.
At the same time, it might be something that Bethesda might spend too much money and just leave it on the table. Perhaps a Fallout 3 VR version could be possible but not New Vegas. Since Fallout: New Vegas has already been designed to run on PS4, then there is a greater chance that it will be enhanced to run in VR mode.
